How to disable/enable USB Port in Windows 7 ?

Most of the times we want to disable/enable USB Ports inorder to protect our computer from virus threats and data protection . It is possible through a simple registry edit.

It is always good to backup your  registry before doing any editing. Registry is a very powerful and sensitive part of your OS. Messing with that can ruin your PC at all. To do this you may want to follow my previous article How to backup and restore win 7 Registry

Unlocking USB Ports is 3 step process. You have to edit your registry to Lock/Unlock your USB Ports.
